Weranda Caffe & Ristorante - Poznań, Poland

Weranda Caffe & Ristorante

Hello beautiful people!

Today I want to share with you a very special group of family-run restaurants I came across on my travels in Poznań. Agata and I briefly popped into the Lunch & Wine one for a bite to eat and I absolutely fell in love with the place. I was determined to get to one of their other three locations (all in Poznań) while on my holiday so on my last day, Agata and I visited the Café & Restaurant in the centre of the city.

The thing that struck me about the first Weranda we went to was the insanely cool interior design and décor. The Café & Restaurant followed a similar style but had it’s own unique touch too, meaning the restaurants all differ from one another quite nicely.

Firstly, there are flowers everywhere.

I mean everywhere.

It's fantastic.

The garden's a pretty Instagram-worthy place to enjoy your lunch too.

From beautifully hand-bound menus to gorgeous garnishes that turn a simple glass of juice into something much classier, every little detail is thought of in Weranda.

Cheers!

We weren’t actually all too hungry (which is a shame because if I had been I could have happily devoured the entire menu), so we chose one of their mouth-watering salads to share.

I was dubious that one salad between us would be enough but when it came to the table, all doubt went away.

Look at that beauty.

Oh and check out my gorgeous lunch date!

Okay, so I know I said we weren’t really hungry, but after reading the dessert menu there was no way I could walk away not ordering something from that glorious list.

They had a cute little disclaimer in the menu at the start of the dessert section that read:

“Cakes! At least three kinds in store. Sometimes it happens that they disappear before we have a chance to recommend them to our guests.”

I can confidently say I found out just how true that was…

A huge chunk of apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream, fluffy whipped cream topped with bitter chocolate sauce, a touch of cinnamon and a mint leaf.

Try as we did, we could't quite finish it off... You win this time, apple pie.

The only fault I can find with Weranda is that they don’t have a restaurant in London! We are waiting for you with open arms and hungry tummies…

You can find out all the details on their website here
Their Instagram is also lovely so head over there and check ‘em out!

I definitely consider this restaurant a must-do if you’re ever in Poznań. Heck, why not go to all four?! I know I can’t wait to return to Poznań and try the other two…

More Poland posts coming soon!
